I am getting the DTV visa with my wife, we have a one year old, should we get our kid a visa too if we have the money and requirements. Or is it not worth getting him a visa? We plan on coming in and out of Thailand often during our 5 years.

Hi,

My child goes to an international school in Phuket on Non ED visa. He needs to extend his initial 90-day visa to 1 year.

Can I do it for him at Blue Tree?

What papers do I need to bring?

Do I need to make an appointment?

He will also need to apply for his multiple re-entry permit after his 1-year extension is approved. Can it be done on the same day or a different day?

Parents who applied for the Visa for their children...

Our 2 year old son clearly doesn't have proof of funds, or access to our bank accounts, was this an issue when you started the visa process?

How did you work around this?

Urgent❓❓

Currently, I am on a non-ED master's visa, and my baby (3 years old) is on a dependent visa. Our visas are going to expire on June 19.. I am planning to obtain a one-year language visa.

1. School A is not providing a visa for my baby.

2. School B will provide visas for both my baby and me in September, as they are currently fully booked.

Is it possible to obtain a visa from School A and keep my baby here until September, then change to School B and get visas for both of us? What are the potential consequences? Will immigration issue a visa for my baby given that it would be an illegal stay for three months?

Hello

We are in need of an urgent advice and any help is highly appreciated.

My wife and I are both foreigners with Non B and Non O.

Our son was born here in Thailand (2023) and has a passport but not a Thai visa yet.

We are having an unexpected 3 days trip abroad that let us with not enough time for my son to apply for a Non O.

As our home country is entitled for Visa on Arrival (not visa exemption) for a 15 days stay what could be our choices?

Can our son be stamped to such 15 days on arrival and then do overstay? And in this case would he need to show a departure flight? Will he be stamped overstay?

I've heard there is no issue for children from countries under Visa Exemption but i am not sure about countries under Visa on Arrival.

Thank you very much for your kind help.

For those of you that are using the Phuket Town immigration office for long term extensions (other than child student or retirement extensions - which are room 103) the office upstairs - 204 is closed due to refurbishment. There is a new marquee to the left of the building and all long term extensions are being handled there. (Marriage/Child/Business etc).
