A little off topic. But anyone know if I can just fly to Vietnam from Thailand and get the visa on arrival without the invitation letter or i can get everything sorted out there? Tried the evisa but the website won’t let me get to the part where I pay for some reason .

Hello, general question from the USA. I submitted for a retirement OA Visa through the Thai E Visa site. I submitted the paperwork on the 25th of January and I just realized I left out the second page of my Health insurance certificate which has the stamp on it when I submitted the paperwork. What is my next step? Do I submit a whole new request with that information added? Do I wait for them to get back to me and tell me what documents I forgot and then submit those documents? I Fly out of Houston Texas on March 4th, do you think that is enough time to resubmit documents and get approved? The website still says processing application. I tried calling Thai Embassy in Washington DC but no answer. Any help would be appreciated.

I’m a US citizen now in Philippines. Heading to Thailand beginning of December. Got online, all my paperwork together, and tried to apply for a 60 day e-visa. I was denied. Was that because I was in Philippines or is there something else going on I should be aware of?

I applied for a 60 Day Tourist Visa on December 19, 2022 through the Ottawa, Canada Thai Embassy and received approval on January 16, 2023. There were a few holidays in that time period and they wanted one piece of documentation updated, but on the whole it was an easy process and took 4 weeks. If I didn't need the one document updated it would have been 3 weeks. I opted for this route as it was less money and easier than coming in on a 45 day exempt and then extending it at an immigration office in Thailand. Looking forward to my stay in Phuket coming up very soon.
