TrueMoney

Finally approved info to upgrade account.

Add bank cards....accepts Thai cards only.

What's the point then! Isn't this meant to be for an easy way for foreigners to use scan? If I had a Thai bank card, I'd have a Thai bank account.

Anyone with non-thai cards actually able to use it.

Hello,

I just have a question regarding my bank application from SCB

I am not in the country right now, but I just wanted to check anything on the SCB app and got the information "UNABLE TO PROCEED" while opening the app.

I’m the only one who have this issue?

As information, I made the bank account few years ago on an official way with work permit.

Many thanks and have a good day ✌🏼

Hello all, I have a question about the possible freezing of accounts. If frozen at b800;000 can you still deposit or withdraw any funds over the frozen amount?

I am trying to open a Thai bank account with a DTV visa, what is the friendliest bank office in Chiang Mai to attempt that? I already know it is becoming difficult

Now this is a single report only so take it as that - a single anecdote. It is not confirmed policy and may be only a single bank manager implementing it at their branch.

In another thread about taxation in another group a guy tried to open a bank account yesterday and was told he needed a TIN (Tax Identification Number).

If this becomes standard bank policy the cat will be truly among the pigeons - especially for those on visas other than DTV.
