Hello all, grateful for advice: my wife is on a DTV and traveling to another country for a few days before her 180 days is up. She completed her previous 90 days report on time in person. However she no longer has the paper receipt for her 90 days report.

Could that be a problem when leaving or returning? Presumably its on their system, but just checking.

Thank you!

Hello everyone basically I had a 60 day Visa on arrival and then extended it. I’m reaching of my 30 day extension and I have booked a flight to Vietnam for a week and then I come back obviously after my 90 days has finished.

I have to leave half my stuff in Thailand, like cameras, drones, expensive equipment. This is because I am unable to purchase additional baggage due to already of reaching the max baggage allowance for the flight.

I have a friend I’m coming back with to spend Christmas time and then going back to Vietnam with the rest of my stuff

However, I am worried that I will be denied entry. I have paid for fast track and I have a Thai person meeting me at my gate when I arrive back to Bangkok however, I am just scared that I will lose all my belongings and get denied entry just so everyone knows as well. This is my first ever time visit in Thailand right now I’ve never been before.

I would want to know does the Visa get reset on 1st January anyway 100%

The people think I will be OK considering it’s my first time in Thailand. What extra precaution should I take to ensure a safe arrival?

Also as for proof of funds does it have to be cash or can it be bank

Hello. I am a british passport holder and arrived in Thailand, I used my 60 days visa exempt then did my 30 days extension. Went to Vietnam for 1 ½ months then onto the Philippines for 2 ½ months. I plan to return to Thailand before I travel home before new year. Will I have a problem with immigration? Thanks

I’m confused how long I have to stay in Laos is it 2 days or 3 days? I want to book my return flight to Thailand and wondering what day I should return. My appointment date is a Monday.

It says the visa processing time for the Royal Thai Embassy, Vientiane, is 3 working/business days.

But then it also say you can collect your visa 2 days (approved or not approved) after submitting the visa application. e.g. Monday submission, Wednesday

collection; Friday submission, Tuesday collection.

Thought I’d update my personal experience returning to Thailand today after a lengthy stay and covid stamps. (I said I would in some previous experience of others). I came January 9th 2022 visa exempt, one 30 day extension and 4 covid extension. Visited Bali for 16 days and was understandably flagged by DMK on return, but was allowed in after a small grilling and proof of outward flight. Stayed 43 more days then went back to the uk for 3 weeks. Just come through BKK and was again expectedly questioned, but not taken aside like before. After explaining why I’m back yet again (and it being my last return for many years after this), a proof of outward flight and hotel (which was actually the $10 onward flight ticket) and many shaky hands as I’m not good with these things, she stamped me in with a smile. Mostly I think she must have thought I was just batshit and felt bad for me for even attempting to come all that way again so soon 🤣 I know I’m extremely lucky and it’s often not the case, but just so people are aware it is possible, even at Bangkok airport! hoping that one day I can return again with some kind of real long term visa 🙏

My next 90 day report is September 14th….on this day i arrive back in thailand from the uk, so I think i am right in that my 90 day clock starts again on that day so i should report in mid December….??? however…in early December i go back to the uk for Xmas returning to thailand on the 30th December.so my question is, do i not have to report to immigration from now until approx the end of march ??

Ps i dont know if it matters, but in October i will applying for my extension of my 0-A visa ( which i have extended once before, and also paid for the multi entry. )

Thanks in advance

Thank you for your information 🙏

My husbands visa expired today and when he went into immigration they said they would not give him a Covid extension. He currently is on the Covid extension.

What are his options? Someone suggested to fly to Singapore and back since they supposedly don’t require a quarantine and he could Test N Go when he comes back.
