Running low on pages will soon need to replace my passport at the US embassy in CNX and I have a DTV.

Where do i go to link the documents?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation revolves around replacing a passport while holding a DTV (Digital Tourist Visa) and the procedures involved in linking the visa to the new passport. Users suggest carrying both the old and new passports during travel and emphasize the importance of checking the type of DTV (whether it's a sticker or an eVisa). One user notes that visiting the immigration office to link the DTV to the new passport is necessary but can be a minor inconvenience.

I went to immigration office and they put it in my new passport. A small hassle. But a lot better than keeping track of two passports for the next five years.

that appears to be acknowledging you have a new passport and transferring your entry stamps not actually a visa transfer.

the original visa was electronic, not in the passport at all, if I remember correctly. Anyway, reentering Thailand in a couple weeks. I will give it a go

make sure you take a printout of your evisa with you and you should be fine. There is no visa in your new passport

Have it in my phone always. None in my old passport either but I’ve been in and out of country a few times. Somehow it works.

Basically you carry both passports until the DTV expires

There is no other way as of right now

Depends on:

if you have a physical DTV Thai Visa STICKER in your Passport Book, or,

if you have a DTV E–Visa PDF File from the Thai eVisa Website

With a DTV, you carry both passports when traveling to and from Thailand.
