Today I received my 90 day O-visa from the uk thai embassy, it’s valid from 25th November 2025 until 22nd February 2026, Question is, do I use it on arrival on 1st December 2025 and let it run for 90 days, and before the 90 days is up extend it by 30 days (if possible),.Or do I enter on a visa exempt 60 days, extend that by 30 days and then exit thailand by land or air and come back in and using my 90 day O-visa ? Obviously before the 22nd February visa expiry,. Just looking for advice to get the maximum amount of days in thailand legally, I don’t really want to go down the border bounce route because of recent clamp downs,. I’ve acquired the O-visa with the 65000 bht per month income method, I don’t have the 800000 bht to put in thai bank,(I don’t have a Thai bank account either) also I’m not really prepared to have my account frozen if I do manage to get 800000 bht. TIA for responses,.
I know I've asked this question before however, with all the rule changes...
What is the current list of requirements for extending a 90-day visa based on visiting family to the 1 year please...? I've an appointment booked for early next week at IT Square
Possible to apply re-entry permit either single or multiple for 90 days non O based on marriage ?
My plan is to apply 90 days non O. Then go to Thailand to activate it. Open bank account, then back to Malaysia to sort other personal things out and also tranfer 400k baht by Swift while in Malaysia.
And anyone know if there is re-entry counter at Hatyai International Airport?
Today I got the approval for the 90-day Non-O (retirement). Thanks again to all who helped with my previous questions. One more: it says it is valid until August 30. Am I correct in thinking this means I need to enter the country by that date, and I will still have 90 days after arrival?
I'm about to apply for a 90-day non-O (Retirement) visa and I understood the requirement to be 800k baht, and that is what the evisa site still says. I happened to look at the Thai Embassy site and it says 30k dollars, which is more like a million baht. Which is correct? Also, do they look at my ending balance for the 3 months, or the average balance?
Hello, I have received my 90 day non O visa today via email but the start day is from today for 90 days. I wasn’t planning on going to mid April and put my intended travel dates as this on the application. Do they stamp this visa when I arrive and therefore get 90 days from them ?
