Hi,

I had 2 months Tourist visa + 1 month extension.

I left for a month outside of Thailand and i am coming back via bkk airport - a month later.

1. Will I have problems getting 30 days free visa on arrival? ( the previous Tourist visa was the the only one I had in the past 3 years)

2. Will i have problem extending this for +30 ? ( again, after being there for 90 days till a month ago)

Not sure what are the clear rules via bkk.

Thanks!

Hello everyone, I will arrive in Chiang Mai on the 8th of May and have a flight ticket out of the country on the 4th of July.

According to my calculations that will be 58 days of staying in Thailand. Allowed are 60 days (30 days on arrival and an extension of another 30 days)

I just do not want to have an overstay stamp if for example, immigration will not grant me a full extension of 30 days. But with two days as a buffer, it should work? Did I calculate wrong or does that make sense? Thanks in advance

Hi all please looking for any/all advice as completely clueless.

Came into Thailand in March on 30 day-on arrival visa, extended with tourist extension and then later with a COVID extension. I have accidentally overstayed on this COVID extension by a couple of days now however when I went to immigration here they said I could still get another COVID extension I just have to pay the fine for each overstayed day and show I will be leaving the country after.

I am wanting to know what my best option is? Rent a flight websites? Visa-run? (If so to where/for how long etc), coming back on what visa? Does anyone think I’d even be able to get another extension at the end of this one?

Thanks in advance as completely new to all of this.

Searched and no definite info. My wife and l left Thailand and my extension of stay on my Retirement 'O' visa has expired. Can l enter on a 30 day tourist on arrival visa and immediately apply for a new retirement 'O' visa. My passports have my previous extension of stay history (7 years worth). Will l need departing Thailand ticket?

Hi guys, not sure if this has always been the case but the Belgian embassy is now requiring proof of booking for at least half a stay, when applying for a 60-day tourist visa.

Honesty due to all uncertainties, I am not really comfortable booking a 30-day stay in advance already. Can I also enter Thailand with a 30-day visa on arrival, an extend 2 times to a total of 90 days? Or is the only option to stay 90 days, the 60-day single entry visa + a 30 day extension locally?

If I want to get to Thailand next week for a stay of 45 days or so...am I better off turning up and getting the 30 days on arrival then applying for an extension or applying for an e-visa 60 day tourist visa. How long does that take to process if so? Just conscious tight on time to get a visa and thai pass sorted..
