Hello,

Can you please tell me from the moment you obtain the DTV Visa, how many days do you have to enter Thailand?

Thanks

Hello group! I just got approved for DTV in Hanoi and heading back to Thailand on Friday. I’ve printed my DTV and my question is:

When going through immigration and they stamp my passport, what “end” date should I be looking for on their stamp? (180 days?) I want to be sure the immigration officer stamps it correctly.

Also is there anything else I should verify with passport/visa/paperwork to ensure immigration does their part right?

Not sure where to ask this question. Today we went to the American Embassy. My Thai girlfriend had an appointment. We hope to get a B1 B2 visa for her to travel to America for holiday. I hired a Thai company to help us prepare all the documentation necessary for her application, checked all the boxes.

According to the Visa company, she met all the requirements. Submitted a flawless application .

She just returned from her appointment at the Embassy. She was denied a B one B2 a Visa .

The reason, insufficient information. That’s it, no explanation of what the insufficient information was.

Piece of information for Brits. It is actually about State Pensions. Yesterday I got a text message from DWP saying that they had processed my Life Certificate. In the past we just sent these by post across however many oceans and hoped it all worked out. Never heard a thing from DWP except in the sense of our pension continuing. That was pretty daft and clearly they've had to address the matter. Think the clue might lie in the last sentence of the message saying so no need to call them! Watch out for this new messaging when you send a Life Certificate back to UK. Note that I received the message at about the 6 week point from sending.

My DTV has been approved for Muay Thai, and I'll be flying to Thailand soon. As far as I know, I have 180 days, followed by the option to extend for another 180 days. After 360 days, will I need to resubmit all the paperwork to enter the country, or can I do a border run to restart the 180-day period?

In which situations are they asking for the full scans of your passport? Is it better to attach this to the original application upfront to prevent unnecessary delay?

Hi everyone!

I have applied for the DTV visa workation from London & received this message today "(- Your recent (balance within last 30 days ) personal UK/Ireland bank statement shows your name, your UK/Ireland address, and a minimum closing balance of 11,000 GBP . Document has to be in full details please. )"

I already provided them a bank statement showing more than 11000 GBP as total balance, the 30 days date, my name & full address. I did hide my total outgoings and total deposits as well as all transactions throughout the month.

What details do you think I should add when reuploading the statement? Thank you in advance!

:)

I’m from the UK looking to apply for the DTV this year. Can anyone advise how much you need to be earning as a remote worker/freelancer to succeed with the application please? Thanks in advance!

Just got issued my DTV!

Question. It appears it's a pdf and has a QR code for scanning. Do I need a printed copy when I arrive to immigration? Or can they just scan it from my phone?
