Hi. Most people here are asking about documents related to things like work. I have a different question – flights. Every 1.5-2 months, due to personal matters, I'll need to return to my home country for about a week. So, I need a long-term visa, but my stay in Thailand won't exceed 80/90 days. When applying for a visa, I'm asked to provide a return flight. I have few questions:

1) What if I don't have a return flight yet? I plan to move to Thailand permanently in February next year and have a one-way flight.

2) Does my departure from Thailand have to be a return flight to my home country in Europe, or can it even be to a nearby country in Asia? What if I don't use that flight?

3) What if I buy a return flight and it will be for about two months after my arrival date? Will they still consider me a DTV, or will they force me to apply for a different type of visa?

Which flight did you put into the form? Did they want any confirmation of booking?

Because visa applications now are all through the E Visa website. Is the paper application form even necessary?

Has anyone been successful without downloading, printing, completing & then uploading the old paper form?It seems unnecessary?

First 90 day report coming up, since getting my 12m extension. I'm yold i must attend on 1st then i can request and set up future 90DR online.

Can someone please list all docs/copies they will ask for on my visit, its a long way to call in just to get a list from them.

I might request a resident's certificate at same time, to apply for licences. So a list for this would also be handy, own my condo but no yellow book yet just docs and empty blue book.

Sorry if this been asked b4

After the 1 year extension on the retirement visa has been given, the 800k needs to be in the bank account for 3 months.

I got my extension on the 19th of May. By mistake the balance dropped under 800k exactly on the 19th of August at 22:00. Does this break the rules or not?

Hello, need to renew my retirement visa end of November 2025 and I have 2 questions. I will apply in Pattay for renewal.

1. Financial part: For my current visa I opted for deposit option of 800000 baht in KB and left that amount untouched. Can I use that same money for my renewal now so I do not need bringing in another 800000?

2. Residence: For my current current I used the address and deed of my condo which I still have but I do not live there anymore and rent it out. I am staying with my Thai partner in a private house so I do not have a rental contract. Will this prevent renewal? Do I have to reside in condo? Thank you for reading this and any ideas.
