Hi, I’ve just applied for DTV visa with proof of my Muay Thai membership which has 4 years left. Although I purchased it in 2020 and it started last year from the day of my first training. Hoping they don’t go off the date it was emailed to me.

But you have to pay £300 before sending it off so has anyone had any problems with it being rejected? It says you can’t get your money back in that case

Has anyone in this group made a claim on their travel insurance when traveling in Thailand? If so, how successful was it?

We, my (Thai) wife & I have been pursuing a Green Card, Spousal Visa legitimately for over 2 years now. We got our I-130 application formerly received in January,’24. She, meanwhile acquired a Visitor’s Visa for the USA that allows her to stay for up to 6 months for a 10 year period. She came to the USA for 2 months in ‘23 & again in ‘24 for 5 months. Having returned to Thailand November 1, ‘24 she is patiently waiting more, but wants to return to me soon.

Since USCIS says 14 months is the minimum time until her “interview “ she’s reluctant to return before March,’25. Can she do her interview here in the USA, thereby allowing her to return here(USA) in say, February or March? Tired of this red tape bureaucracy.

Applied online from Australia well over a 12 days ago.

Keep getting questions about providing my portfolio. I finally got frustrated and called the Thai embassy for answers. They stated that my business " didnt look legitimate", even thought its been operating for 4 years. They want a detailed breakdown of work I do as well as invoices to clients.

My website is fine... I dont understand what is going on here.

Anyone else had this sort of issue?

Hi DTV squad. Just wanted to ask for recommended service agents to help open a joint Thai account (my wife and I). We both got our DTV and are British. One service agent quoted me 15,000 baht a person and through a Pattaya branch. Seems very expensive! If anyone has had a positive and reasonably priced experience would be grateful to be pointed in the right way. Thank you in advance and apologies if this has posted already!

If you apply for a DTV (in this case at the London embassy) whilst in the UK, do you need to remain in the country until the application is approved? It would be great to apply while home for Christmas but I’m worried about the processing time as I may only be home for a week.
