What should I enter for my city of birth and hyphenated last name in the DTV application?

Will do, thank you. My passport has a hyphen in my last name which isn't allowed. The info at the bottom has an arrow between my two last names. My question becomes, do I put a space between the two last names or run it together as one word? One of them is going to get me denied, one isn't. I can't find clear guidance anywhere.
