It feels like the process has restarted, and I’m confused about what’s happening.

Has anyone ever successfully been able to get the DTV to study Buddhism, using a letter from the Abbot of a temple for the "Soft Power Activity"? As I'd like to seriously study Buddhism without ordaining and can obtain this document.

OR

Has anyone been able to use Dental work to qualify as the "Soft Power Activity/Medical treatment"?

Anyone done the 90 day report yet at local immergration?

I'm a freelance designer doing remote work pro bono for a charity based in Indonesia, which I visit a few times a year. I am living off savings so have money in the bank. The charity is willing to write me a letter describing our relationship. But since they are not paying me, will this be an obstacle to me getting a visa? I have a portfolio of work related to my role with them. I will be applying at the London Embassy.

Not sure if relevant or not to this group however I crossed over to Lao (via the 3rd Friendship Bridge - Nakhon Phanom) today and did a visa on entry normal blah blah blah- however was an Aussie next to me who stated and demonstrated and exhibited his visa which he had bought on line - he was given short shrift that these were not allowed on land borders and must pay the fee of 40 USD or 2000 THB for a visa on entry. Just in case anyone is considering getting the evisa. Also they wouldn’t take a card payment from the poor chap. ( well apart from being an Aussie that is) so all be aware evisa is not so easy to use in Asia on land borders. I’m sure many people will correct me but I said what I saw. Have a nice day

Hello, does anyone have a sample letter they can share, obviously personal details blanked out, of a sample bank letter showing 65k going into their account every month for 12 months as international transfers. This is in support of an application for renewal of non 0 visa extension of stay. I've been to 2 branches of my bank and they looked blank when I asked. Thanks

Has anyone had a DTV, and then been successful in obtaining a work permit? I am in the middle of a work permit process, and its so slow that i got the DTV in the mean time. I'm hoping it doesn't affect the process in any way. And. I'm aware that you can only have one visa at a time.

I'm on a muay thai DTV, so there's nothing work related in Thailand with it so far.

Hi folks , I'm thinking of applying for a soft dtv next year , my question is as this is a 5 year visa , if I move provinces is it just a matter of registering my new address or is it more complicated than that ? Would it affect my visa negatively?

My condo owner filed my TM30, I’m out of country for a while and then back Jan staying same condo. Do I need another TM30 when I return. On on Retirement O Visa?
