Hi everyone! I have a question for people who have applied for the DTV (Destination Thailand Visa) in Hanoi.

For the bank balance certificate / bank statement required for the application, how close did the issue date need to be to the visa application date?

For example, does the document need to be issued within 30 days of applying, or is there a stricter requirement?

Also, if you applied in Hanoi, I’d really appreciate hearing about your timeline and experience (how long the process took, whether additional documents were requested, etc.).

submitted my documents to Issa Compass and everything got reviewed, got my visa « submitted » 23rd February in Hanoi by Issa, right during Tet holidays, how much days should I expect to wait in Vietnam due to the holidays and the reopening only this Monday of the embassy ? Is there any other applicants in Hanoi waiting right now in Hanoi or got any answer ?

Anyone that applied recently from Hanoi?

I've submitted my application by the 31th of July and have'nt got any response till the date which is more than 10 days already, does it make sense?

Can I add the 500k baht to my American bank account a week before applying for DTV in Hanoi?

I’ll be in Hanoi on July 7 and want to apply while there, but nervous about being rejected if the money is not seasoned. Would love to hear experiences like mine.

June 6th: Applied at Hanoi International Airport [Status: Waiting for document confirmation]

June 9th: Checked and uploaded the request for additional documents (passport page with Vietnam entry stamp) [Status: Waiting for approval]

June 13th: Received email of DTV approval

Approved 4 business days after submitting additional documents.
