TLDR : Answer Summary
The TM30 registration can generally be used for your 90-day report if you have not left the country or stayed in a hotel or hospital since the TM30 was filed. It's advisable to check specifics to ensure compliance.

If you haven’t left the country and returned or if you haven’t stayed in a hotel or hospital since then it’s probably fine.

Do you need a new TM30 as a longterm resident living at the same home address if you have to go to hospital for a night? Thats the first time I hear that 🤷🏻‍♀️

It’s completely depending on the office you use. Some will require. Some won’t.

I believe you don’t have to put in a new tm30 for short trips within country for people on long term visas

I have been wrong before

seems to depend on the office - and may be officer, time of day etc! I am long term resident and CM Imm declined my 90 day as I had stayed at a hotel down south since previous 90 day and not filed new tm30.
