yes they did, and no, you’re not asked for 6 months of pay stubs. I know because I helped them with their application as well as did my own (though mine was with LA with my own company). You state things based on your experience with how you did it for you and your wife, and I do the same with my experience. No where on the consular website nor the portal does it state a requirement to upload 6 months of pay slips. Different consulates will ask for different things and Hanoi did not ask any of my friends for 6 months of slips. There are chances they’ll ask others, but at this time, that’s different for each applicant.
Again, you’re making it as if you know for a fact that those people got denied due to their finances, but you don’t know that. No one does. You do understand that it could’ve been their nationality, documents they submitted looked fishy, or something else and were scrutinized more, right? It’s not just finances as we’ve seen people say they submitted 6 months of 500K being there and getting rejected. Just because you submit all the requirements doesn’t mean you’ll get approved. Thailand can deny you a visa for whatever they feel like.
