hey - I'm heading to Bangkok Aug 30th - I'm on Duke Language Schools website and I'm reading through the application / visa process to better understand what I will have to do to get my ED visa. It says I need to sign every page! After doing so they want me to send a copy of it to the school (that's fine). However, I can't help but think signing all the pages might cause problems upon arrival. in addition to this info, I have a strong feeling signing each page is like signing the back of a credit card or a check which is just an indication of authenticity and mitigate any fraudulent use...is this correct? can I sign every page - arrive in the country and be ok to continue to receive additional stamps in the future?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around signing every page of the visa application as required by Duke Language School for the ED visa. It clarifies that you do not need to sign the actual passport pages, but rather the application pages. It's a common requirement for visa processes. Several commenters advise that the signing should not affect your future visa stamps and recommend contacting the school directly for further assistance with your visa.
It's always been this way. The only "tourists" flocking to Vietnam are the Cheap Charlies which Thailand really doesn't want anyway, so it's all good!!
Bro, you're making life too hard on yourself. I went to Duke. Just come here and they will do everything for you. But there is a waiting list. So pay for your first course and you sre good to go.
They want you to sign the copy of every page, not the actual page of your passport. A very, very common immigration requirement of you ever need to provide pages of your passport.
But if you haven't already been in touch with Duke you need to do that first. They generally have a multiple month waiting list for beginner classes.
