@Graham *****
will get proof of income from Australia bank

@Graham *****
that is great advice, was thinking of opening a bank account with 40,000 baht a month income from my Australian bank as person married to a Thai woman. Depositing to account when I have the account open ( 400,000 not an option as it earns a good income in Australia )

Once it grows to 400,000 then that will work also.

Any further suggestions??

@Lloyd *******
married I usually just make it known at local immigration when we arrive and they are happy to do the extension for 1,800 baht.

So I guess it’s a case of we will see, on arrival

@Lloyd *******
thanks that explains it previously I needed to show evidence of date to arrive and then depart, I’m guessing that may no longer be the case if I need to apply for extension to total 6 months.

@Lloyd *******
thanks

that’s what I thought we often go 60 day and get extension at local

immigration

Now it looks like any longer I will need 3 month and then get further extension if we wish to stay 6 months
