Any recent experience on processing time in Munich consulate? I would apply for dependent visa(wife). My approval took there 10 days. Do you think it can be faster for a dependent?

Thank you community

Hello everyone,

I hope this post is okay here, even though it’s not directly about the DTV Visa. I’m seeking advice on investing in mutual funds or ETFs in Thailand as a DTV Visa holder. I have Krung Thai Bank account and I found some mutual funds there but it might need to open mutual funds account.

Are there others here in a similar situation? For context, I’m from Asian Country not from Europe or US just from Myanmar and currently living in Thailand. I’d like to know about the policies, tax implications, and options available for someone with my visa type.

I’m planning to invest a portion of my monthly income and would greatly appreciate any insights or experiences you can share or get some advice.

Thank you!

I already train at a Muaythai gym in Pattaya, but I don't think they are set up to help with DTV.

1. If I have to change gym, what's the minimum period of enrolment for a successful application?

2. Do I have to re-enrol at the same gym? Would I be able to re-enrol at my USUAL gym even if it's not the one on my original application?

Hello to everyone in the group, a Spaniard living in Cambodia. I am going to Thailand in January to renew my passport. I have read that from December/January onwards you have to fill out an online document, I think it is called etravel or something like that. Do any of you have the link and can you tell me what it is for? We Spaniards do not need a visa, we have a visa exemption for 60 days but it seems that this online document is mandatory for everyone. Thank you very much in advance for your collaboration.

Hello everyone! A few days ago I received my first one-year Extension of Stay Permit (EOS) from my immigration office. I had my salary certificate certified by my embassy in Bangkok. My immigration told me that I actually have to have this certified certificate certified again in Bangkok by a Thai authority. (over-authentication).

What is the name of this authority in Bangkok?

And where is this authority located?

Because it is my first EOS, my immigration has kindly stamped the EOS in my passport without this additional authentication just for this time.

Thank you for your answers!

I applied on Friday 29th November. I was asked for further documents, one being my e-ticket. So it appears the London Embassy want you to have booked a flight. I fly on 16th December and I am at ‘pending approval’ stage. Feeling a little nervous the DTV won’t come through in time, if approved. Has anyone else applied around the same time and have you been approved?

Since the DTV was introduced am i correct in thinking that land border crossings are now not limited to 2 per year ? think i seen a post about it on here somewhere.

Are visa extensions at local immigration now 60 days instead of 30 ?

Anyone experience with the 'medical' category?

I'm too sick for Muay Thai and don't like cooking.

I have contacted numerous hospitals. One replied initially but when I asked to confirm the appointments, they never replied.

Is it a mistake to mention the DTV? Better just ask for the apointments and not scare them? But I will need them to provide a nice paper with letterhead and all...

Please share Dr. recommendations in the chat. I'm mostly looking for nutrient testing and nutrition consulting.
