I’m a solo traveler and I need to figure out how to get a DTV visa to get back to Thailand. I originally came in to Thailand on a 90 day tourist visa. I then extended another 30 days. I left the country and went to Malaysia for about a month. I came back into Thailand on a 60 day tourist no visa. I left again and came back for another 60 days. I’m currently in Vietnam but I have to get a DTV visa per Thailand immigration. I was told by Thailand Immigration agent I can do this while I’m in Vietnam. So I only have a week in Vietnam. I want to extend in Vietnam to give me more time to get this done. However I cannot found any information on how to extend in Vietnam. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Hi All, I'm new to the group.

I’m applying for a Thai non O-A visa. [members only]

One of the requirements is to provide a ”Recent bank statement for the last three months showing the applicant's name and ending balance of no less than $30,000 or proof of monthly income of not less than $2,500/month) along with the current bank statement showing incoming income”. I meet the $2,500/month requirement, though I only had the $30,000 for two months.

The doubt is that I usually keep the vast majority invested and not in a bank account.

Would it be beneficial to include a formal document from my investment account that indicates the total amount invested? The amount is significantly higher than the requirement, amounting to 800,000 baht.

Should I wait an additional month to submit my application?

I already rented a place to live. Should I provide a copy of the documentation from the home lease?

Is the application process based solely on uploading documents to the website or are the documents mailed to the embassy?

Thank you in advance.

PS: I already have Thai health insurance, completed the background check, the health certificate, a copy of my passport, and recent photos. My lease starts August 15.

Hello! Does anyone know of a bank that my husband and I could get a joint account with that would allow us BOTH to use their banking application (using two phone numbers and our own separate phones) and allow us both to have our own QR code without having to get our own separate accounts? We’ve never had separate accounts, so this has been weird to finagle and would like to find a bank that would meet our needs. Thanks so much!

I am hoping someone can give me some clear direction on a Non-O visa applied for in the USA.

I applied for a non-O visa online via the Thai embassy website in the US on June 4, but as of July 4, it has yet to be approved. I am set to depart the States on Sunday July 6th to return to Thailand and join my wife. I have tried to get into contact with the embassy in New York for the past week unsuccessfully.

My questions are, should I delay my trip until the non-O visa is approved or proceed with my original travel plans on Sunday? Once/if the visa application is approved can I exit Thailand to a neighboring country and re-enter on the visa?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance

Hi I am looking at all tourist visa options. Normally stay in Thailand under 60 days so visa excempt is ok. My next trip will include Thailand and travel by air to other SE Countries. My first Thailand stop will be approx 85 days, then travel via air out and then plan to return to Thailand for 60 days before flying back to UK.

Am I correct in reading that even on a tourist single entry visa you can only stay for 60 days each time and then need to extend?

Also same applies for 6mth multiple entry?

Thank you in advance for any guidance.
