My grandson in pattaya His Muay Thai training camp gave him a 6-month registration certificate to give to immigration. To get the 6 months visa, they tell him to go abroad (Vietnam, Burma, Laos)
Can you tell me what is best for him and how to go there at the lowest cost (from Pattaya) and what price for the visa
Thanks for your answers

Bonjour
I have noticed on my computer ads for a 5-year. visa for 30,000 Baht. As with the rules, I will not mention the company. I have just re-newed my ret. visa so I asked them to clarify their position. They just sent me an overview without any hard facts. Any news about this, please?
Ideally, my wife and I would apply for the DTV visa (me as primary, her as dependent) at the same time. However, my understanding is that I need to apply for the DTV visa first, then my wife can apply separately for a dependent visa once mine is approved.
My question is: is there a waiting period between my primary DTV visa being granted and when my wife can apply for the dependent visa? If so, how long?
We will be applying through the Jakarta embassy.
I haven’t been able to find this information online. Thank you 🙏
Morning everyone 🙏🙏🙏 I currently have a retirement visa and multiple entry visa for Thailand 🇹🇭 my partner is living in Thailand and I am in Australia, i heard that a new visa have come out DTV.
I am working in Australia 🇦🇺 full time and have a government job so I can travel a bit if i need to, correct me if I am wrong the DTV is more suitable for people who wish to work remotely and stay longer in Thailand for what amount of time?
So I am 55 have retirement visa and multiple entry visa so retirement visa would be more suitable for me or DTV?
Arrived Thailand 08/04/25 via Suvarnabhumi on DTV issued from Sydney, Australia. No questions, no comments, no concerns. Straight through no problems!
Edit: I forgot to say, this is my second entry into Thailand on this Visa. I read a post tow or three weeks ago by someone saying they needed to show all their DTV documents which they had on their laptop.
I will be arriving in Thailand on 3rd of May- leaving U.K 2nd of May. Unfortunately, after studying many posts regarding new TDAC visa I still do not know weather to apply more than 3 days or less than 3 days before arrival. Please clarify many thanks.
For British passport holders who applied for and were granted a DTV visa through the online application, what did you enter in the ‘Place of Issue’ field?
