Looks like WISE dropped the category for "Funds for long term stay in Thailand " or words to that effect. Just did a transfer and didn't have that as a reason. Everyone I have done so far this year had that as a reason. I believe though that isn't really necessary for a renewal on a marriage extension of stay.

When receiving a new passport, do you need to get your visa stamp transferred or can simply carry both passports when dealing with immigration?

Hello, I spent Thailand 180 days this year, and when I wanted enter Phuket by air, the immigration refused. So I went back to Malaysia. If I go early of january by land, should I affraid the same situaton?

Hi. Once your DTV visa is approved. Is there anything you should know or think about besides:

1. Don’t stay longer than 180 days without extending

2. Do 90 day reports

Hi everyone, I understand that the ETA general rollout has been delayed. Does anyone knows when it will be in place? The Thai government site doesn't provide any info. It looks like ETA is now available for now for travelers from a limited numer of countries.

What is the fee to add a dependent? 1900 or the same 10000?

I’m trying to open a bank account in Thailand so I can apply for a marriage visa when I’m back in UK beginning of March .

Banks will not do this as I’m visiting without a visa for 60 days

If I had a Marriage Visa no problem the banks say

So we went to

Local Gov offices in Ratchaburi and was told today we would have to make an appointment and only three days left in December

To the appointment just to be able to open a bank account that’s needed to apply for a marriage visa. Need to deposit 400’000 baht into the account for two months before applying for Visa too

We will try and get this achieved before we have to return to UK

Unless you know of an easier way ?

Is visiting Thailand too many times an issue? I went there 6 times this year, none of my stays were longer than 7 days.

Does anyone know whether I can change location of the application while it is proceeding? Who should I contact?

I am Burmese coming to Laos to apply for tourist visa after staying in Thailand for 14 days (visa free).

When I planned to leave Thailand from Nong Khai, Thai immigration officer denied me to leave by land and told me to take flight.

I had to go back to Bangkok, took a flight, came to Laos and applied for TR visa.

So, I am wondering if I enter Thailand again this time, do I need to take flight or can I cross by land? Thanks in advance.
