We have a question. Maybe someone can help. We will be in Thailand in 2 weeks under a tourist visa. We will be doing the 30 day extension. We are renting a villa for a year. We want to get the retirement visa or the non O immigrant visa. What do we need to do before we get there and once we get there? How do we go about getting the visa? Any advice is helpful.

We are coming in 2 weeks to Hua hin Thailand. We are renting a villa for a year starting out when we get there. We will be on a tourist visa with 30 days extension. We will be going to immigration to talk to them about getting the retirement visa or the Non immigrant O visa. Does anybody have any advice or think we should do something different?

I had an non immigrant ED visa in January 2023, which mentions the day the stamp was added and two smaller rectangular stamps, one underneath, and one on the next page mentioning the day I received it and the expiration date (3 months later). There is also a red stamp saying USED above the visa.

I left Thailand 3 weeks after receiving it and returned 8 more times since on visa exemptions. Now I want to apply for another ED visa, but I was told that I have to first cancel the ED visa that I received almost 3 years ago. Is this correct?

For canceling an ED visa - how long do you have to leave the country after cancellation?

So when do I cancel and retry the 90 day online application? It’s due on the 24th. Object is to not go to CW. 😉

I’m applying for a dtv visa and know I can’t get a Thai bank account so has anyone information on any pre paid cards I can use while out in Thailand. I won’t use the atm so looking for another way?

How does one comply with the second requirement? Do you simply present a copy of your rental agreement? The paperwork from the school said something about bringing the TM 30 but isn’t that something the landlord fills out and not the applicant?

Have a retirement visa and have left country and returned before 90 day check in. Do I still need to check in with immigration or does reentry count as check in?
