I’m a Uk national. I work in China and My mum lives with me in China on a dependent visa. I will move to Thailand in the summer for a new job and she will move with me. Does anyone know the documents I need to prepare to get her a dependent visa in Thailand? Or what the visa requirements are?

Thanks in advance

Hi guys, I'll be flying to Thailand in 2 weeks. I want to start as a tourist with a visa exemption but start learning Thai in Chiang Mai via an ED visa. Do I need to leave the country to get the visa or can I stay in Thailand? Thanks in advance!

I've totally lost track of visa-possibilities to visit thailand; i know visa-exempt on arrival is now 60 days with the possibility of extending for 30 days, and then repeating this process to lengthen your stay. My question is, can I apply for a Multiple Entry Tourist Visa from London before I fly to Thailand, and if so, what are the benefits of doing so? Thank you :-)

Hi guys,

Last week I submitted my application for 1 year extension based on marriage. Everything went smoothly I paid the fee and was told to return on the 25th. I’m guessing this is the “under consideration” phase?

My question is, my non 0 visa expires on April 2nd, if for whatever reason my application is denied I’ll only have a week left on my visa so would I have to start the whole process again? Starting with the 90 non o visa from outside Thailand?

Do these visa even get denied at this stage?

I have a relatively simple query: I am a South African living in Chiang Mai, currently on a non b visa (teacher). My contract at my current school ends soon, but my new school will take approximately two months to process my paperwork for my new visa and work permit. Where would be the cheapest, and easiest place for me to leave Thailand and return to get a visa waiver? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Good evening. I have a job at a learning centre and all the paper work has been done and approved by the department. The documents need to be submitted to immigration for the non b visa.

My question is the following the learning centre wants me to pay 18 000 baht. It does not sound right as I heard the cost is 2000 baht . Can anyone help me please 🙏

Please excuse me if this question is considered stupid.

I am an American 60yo. I would like to come to Thailand 2x per year for no more than 90 days each time. Is this possible? I do not have the 800k for a non O visa, and really only want to stay for 90 days at a time. Thanks in advance.

I have a question RE health INS. I am a VET who has VA healthcare. I see that there is a FMA Foreign Medical Program offered by the VA, and some hospitals accept this INS in Thailand. Does anyone know about this? If yes, where have you used it?

Hi all,

i’m currently applying for the DTV visa as a business owner from Ho Chi Minh City and have submitted all the documents according to the website.

As expected, they are asking for revised documents for everything, but more specifically for 6 months of salary slips, to be highlighted in the financial statement.

As I currently run my startup on personal savings to avoid double taxation, I do not pay myself any salary.

I’m afraid if I explain this to them, they will decline my visa because I don’t have evidence of regular income.

Again, I’m not applying as an employee or freelancer, but as the company owner. I have one employee who receives a regular salary.

Has anyone encountered this situation?

Thank you so much upfront.
