I have a question RE health INS. I am a VET who has VA healthcare. I see that there is a FMA Foreign Medical Program offered by the VA, and some hospitals accept this INS in Thailand. Does anyone know about this? If yes, where have you used it?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The FMA Foreign Medical Program offered by the VA allows veterans with VA healthcare to receive treatment in certain hospitals in Thailand. It's advisable to check directly with your insurance provider in the U.S. for a list of their network hospitals in Thailand and confirm if they offer services like guarantee letters for treatment.

It's complicated to explain the system about using insurance services but you may ask your insurer in US

- what are lists of hospital network they have in Thailand.

- Do they have contact hospital services to place guarantee letter if there's no hospital network nearby.
