If I am no freelancer then I have to do a soft power Does thai language school count as a soft power too?

Cause it only say cooking or muay thai or music festival which I don't get.

Also It means I will show a proof of 15k thai baht bank statement plus the activity I will be attending.

2. question: do I need to have a flight ticket ? What do i fill in if they ask for the flight number? I cant just buy a ticket and not knowing whether they accept me or not.

3. If I summit my application online , will it be fast ? Like 24h like other people? Or should I rather go in person?

What’s the difference with the ED visa for Muay Thai and the DTV for Muay Thai ? Since the stays are longer and over 5 years are gyms less strict with class attendance ?

If I am not asking this question correctly please forgive me.

i live in cambodia and am nearing the end of my visa and rental contract.

i plan to move to thailand soon and qualify for retirement visa EXCEPT i have only HALF the 800k to put into a thai bank.

i don’t want to have an agent apply for my retirement visa as i read that i would always have to use an agent for future retirement visa extensions.

what i think would work is a short time in a language school then shift to musay thai school. in that period i would place the 800k from a combination of transfers from my american bank where my military pension is direct deposited and my cambodian bank. i think that will be topped up to 800k within 5-6 months.

that way i can do the retirement visa applications on my own from then on.

i had thought i could just print out my bank records of the last 5 pr more years showing i receive u.s. treasury checks plus a statement i can have the veterans administration send with a current date. i have inquired about that option several times and heard no answer.

if i can get an education visa at a reasonable expense i will be so happy. of course i realize i would have to actually study but that is actually what i love to do anyway and would do it even if i was already on retirement visa.

i’m so looking forward to living in Thailand.

Hi everyone! Just want to confirm if this one is good to go and I don’t have anything do after? I’m in the process of applying for an education visa to study thai and my language school asked me to forward them TM30 which is this one that I completed on the immigration’s website. Thanks for your inputs! 🙏

Hello, I am currently on a non-ED visa in Phuket. I have a lease on a condo that ends 3-4 months after the full year of my current visa. Will it be possible to get a tourist visa at the border once or twice so that I can stay until the end of my lease?

I'm genuinely using the non-ED visa to learn thai and want to learn the language. Would it also be possible to get a second non-ED visa for more advanced courses?

Hi Everyone,

I am looking into coming to Thailand to study (Thai Language) beginning the end of July, when a new semester starts. I'm still undecided on a school, but I notice each one has slightly different procedures for applying for an ED visa.

As an Australian, I am able to obtain a 3-month visa to start, but from there, the procedures start to differ, albeit slightly.

I also need to arrive before semester start to arrange a place to live.

Does anyone have their own experience with ED visas they can share, like the steps involved, places to live, local bank accounts, etc.?

If you need to know more from me, let me know too.

Thanks in advance.

Brad.

Hello everyone... Are there any recommendations about a good and reliable institute where I can study Thai language and where I can apply for an education visa in Thailand? There are a lot of ads but I am looking for a proven and reliable institute... Thank you all very much.
