Do I need to show my TM30 for the 90-day report if I'm staying in a guesthouse that reports monthly?

I am planning on doing our first 90 day report tomorrow, as the deadline is 29 august.

We live in a guesthouse where we pay by month, so they report our stay every month as they are obligated to do so with tourists.

So she was not sure if I still need show the TM30..

I do believe we still need to show it right?

We do leave 2 September for a month, but I it just surpasses the deadline by 4 days. So we still need to do it 🤦🏽‍♀️

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the necessity of presenting their TM30 form while filing a 90-day report, given that their guesthouse reports their stay monthly. The consensus in the comments indicates that they may not need to show the TM30, as immigration can access this information electronically. However, there are differing opinions on this, with some suggesting it might be prudent to have it available to avoid potential hassles.

You'll likely need a copy of the tm30 when you go report in person, your landlord doesn't need to report every month just because you pay monthly rent, they report only when you come. But for instance if you went away and stayed in a hotel somewhere for a week and returned then they would report again. With some offices you don't need to report again when you've traveled domestically but anyway it just saves a lot of possible hassle to do it.

Immigration can look up your TM.30 in their system, no need to show anything. The 90-day report can be done 1 week before or after the actual 90 day mark, so if
****
is exactly 90 days since you came in and you’re leaving the 2nd, then no need to do it

15 days before until 7 days after is the reporting window.

we arrived 31 June, so 90 days would be 29 August… doesn’t that mean I don’t necessarily have to do the report and wouldn’t cause a problem?

Because we come back 3 October (I have soft power Muay Thai) to finish the rest of my training, which I got for the DTV.

Anonymous participant you need to do it as you will have been in the Kingdom for 90 consecutive days on 29th Aug. Just because you are allowed to report late doesn’t mean you can ignore it.

Best to be on good terms with the Immigration, so if you have been in Thailand 90 consecutive days, then do the report.

And bring a copy of the TM30, it makes it easier at the immigration office.

I always ask for a copy of the TM30 when I check in at a new adress, making it much easier for the landlord / reception to make a copy when theymake the report, than having to find it again 80 something days later.

( And you thereby remind the reception to make the TM30)

I have always been required to bring a copy of my tm30 for anything at immigration in Chiang Mai. They will not do anything if you don’t have it.

Anonymous participant 451 I guess it differs per office. In Phang Nga they never ask for it, look it up in their system.
