Hi group! I'm getting prepared to apply for a DTV and have a few questions.

I'd like to apply through the Jakarta office as I'll be in Indonesia soon, but on Sulawesi, not in Jakarta. Do I physically need to go to the Jakarta office, or can I apply fully online from another region of Indonesia?

I'm thinking of applying for the workcation as I'm under contract with an online teaching company (and have been for years), but I'll only have one or two months of recent pay to show. Those who have gone through Jakarta - how many months of income did you need to show? (I'm coming off of a non-b visa, so it's a transition time which is why I'll only have a couple months of recent online pay. I've also plenty of savings to show, so that aspect isn't an issue).

My other option is doing a soft power. I saw that "seminars" was an option. Has anyone done this one? What does it entail?

Thank you everyone! šŸ™

Approved from Los Angeles in one week.

I triple checked all the information that was required, made sure of my passport info & number was correct that my photo is in the proper format with a clear background, centered, and recent. I wrote a letter of intention for my stay in Thailand, detailed the work that I do, and how I’ll be traveling in and out of the country over the next couple of years. I submitted a contract from a client who has interest in Southeast Asia to develop business opportunities along with some examples of my work in the digital landscape. Submitted three months of business bank statements showing the required funds, and ļæ¼a utility bill showing my current location.

This group has been very helpful. I was stressed out because I didn’t wanna lose $400 due to some silly error but it all worked out! Thanks for th advice and help!

Applying for non o visa from UK to get extension based on retirement after 60 days. However, when I get to the bottom of the form it’s asks for evidence of health insurance and foreign insurance certificate. I thought this was not needed for non o visa? Am I doing something wrong?

Recently tried to send money to family through wise. Never had problems before. But last transaction refused. Wise say it's because Thailand has changed banking rules. Your name from sending account has to match bank account name in account Thailand. How can you resolve this is the question?

I just received notification that my Non O retirement visa was approved. They sent me the E Visa to my e mail. Do I need to print that or just keep the e mail when I arrive to immigration. Also did I screw up on the timing as far as applying for the Non O. It says approved and shows expiration December 7th but my flight arrival is October 31.. I thought when approved it starts upon entry to Thailand. If thats the case do I have enough time to do the 1 year extension when I arrive? Thank you for your help.

Hi, I was on an ED visa extension of stay (4 years and waiting to graduate)which finished on the 26 of August, so I did not get told by my uni that I needed to cancel it at immigration so I came back on a non exempt visa. Now I've been told that I'm on overstay and waiting for the letter to cancel my ED visa. What are the implications and what are my options. I will be going to immigration on Thursday to cancel my ED visa. What can I expect and what should I plan for. I left the country to go onto a tourist/non exempt visa but been told its not valid. I'm South African and not sure what my options are. Please advise of possible.
