TLDR : Answer Summary
For your first 90-day report in Bangkok near Sathon, you need to visit the immigration office with your passport and proof of residence. Some expats choose to use a visa agent for convenience, which can expedite the process.

I handed over my passport to my Visa agent and then received it back the next day telling me it was done. So that's the way I prefer to do it and you may wish to consider the same thing.
