Dear all, I’m starting to work in Thailand on the 8 of December. However as I understood, i cannot make my visa B now because I’m needed the WP32 documents that the employer is obtaining by the ministry of labor.

However, the company can request the WP32, only on the 8 of November, in order to have 30 days delay before the 8 of December.

Is that correct ?? I cannot start my visa B now ? Right ?

Thanks to All

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is starting work in Thailand on December 8 and inquired about the possibility of applying for a Non-B visa before obtaining the necessary WP32 documents. According to responses, the WP3 (work permit application document) is needed for the Non-B visa application. While the application for the Non-B visa can be initiated before the work permit is fully processed, the user cannot start work until the visa and work permit are secured.

Yes in order to get the nonb you must have a "wp3" which is a promise of a work permit (basically) from the labor department.

However If you are coming that soon, there is no reason, other than the company can't get it together before then.

Most companies cannot/will not provide the amount of paperwork needed to do an incountry nonb 90 day visa.
