Today I applied for my first extension non o and is stamped to the 12th July. Is this a normal length of time to wait on the under consideration?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user applied for their first Non-O visa extension and received a stamp valid until July 12th. There is concern about the validity of an 'under consideration' stamp expiring on a Saturday when immigration offices are closed. Other comments suggest that the extension might be valid based on marriage to a Thai citizen and raising a Thai child, clarifying the timeline and expectations for the 90-day reporting.

Your right I have a Thai wife and Thai child and from what you say makes clear sense thank you so much that’s gave me a good length of time then and I’m believing when I collect my extension of stay then I’ll be informed of my first 90 day report in person

You SURE you're stamped with an under consideration that that expires on the 12th of July?
I ask because that's a Saturday and as a rule they don't give under consideration stamps that expire on days immigration offices are closed
If I was to guess I'd say you applied based on marriage / raising thai child and got a 30 day under consideration stamp that was ADDED to the expiration date of your Non-O 90 day stamp
Which from when the U.C stamp runs out seems like it might have expired around the 12th of June) 😉 <- they add the 30 days under consideration to the end of that stamp
BUT
I'm just guessing
