hello. has anyone seen any information regarding the limitations of the DTV digital nomad? of course we can make phone calls and use a laptop. but what about wearing a professional t-shirt, talking about your company to someone in thailand, giving a business card, etc. thanks

Has anyone heard if the Thai embassy in Jakarta has changed or will change to E-visa?

Just got my DTV, it took 24 hrs to get approved.

Now I'm currently waiting on my wife's and my son's. We'll see how this goes.

When you apply for an O visa inside Thailand to eventually get the 12 month extension (based on retirement), at what point does the 800k bht need to go into your bank account?

Question around the TM30 for any experts out there.

I’ve been mostly staying in hotels since I arrived and am moving around a bit e.g. Pattaya, Bangkok, Hua hin, Phuket etc.

Question is, when the time comes to go and file my first ever TM30 at immigration on day 85 of my stay, do I just ask my current hotel for my current TM30 print out or do I need to be collecting TM30 records from each hotel along the way to present some kind of record to them?

The website / information is ambiguous to say the least.

Can I ask when I arrive in Thailand next month.. bare in mind it’s my first time travelling alone I arrive the 14th but then will be flying to Bali for 12days to meet my friend and return back to Thailand with him.. what will happened with my 60 day visa…

Could someone please let me know if the following would work for getting Non O retirement visa from the UK.

In UK apply for a type-O 90 day Visa via E-Visa process. With 90 insurance policy covering over $800K. Will I also need to prove where I'll stay?

When completed, travel to Thailand and apply for 1 year retirement visa.

Will I need another insurance policy?
