Hi All, has anyone applied and collected their non-B visa in Singapore before?

My friend is there waiting to collect his but was charged only 100 SGD (he wants a multiple entry so was expecting to pay more), then told that it was when he re-enters Thailand that he has to request Single or Multiple, from Thai authorities.

I got mine in Myanmar last month and had to tick Multiple on the form (on his form the box for that choice said Official Use Only), pay the fee for M and was given a visa with an M on it at The Embassy there.

We just want to know if this is normal for Singapore and what he can expect when he re-enters Thailand. Like where does he request M? At airport immigration desk I guess but won’t he have to pay more? Do they take payment at the desk? This seems weird to me!
