Does anybody have any information regarding whether you can apply for the DTV visa (soft work: yoga course) and switch to remote working further on down the line & once the course has finished?

Can anyone advise on the DTV visa for culinary courses. Do they have to be with an approved college? Do they have to have a minimum time on the course? Any help or advice is appreciated! I’m applying through the London Embassy

Is there any way I can obtain a visa and use military compensation as my income?

Someone just told me it’s not possible to do the dtv application at the embassy in Jakarta, it needs to be done online. I cannot find anything about this. Does anyone know?🙏✨

Received my DTV today! I applied on the 22nd and collected my passport today. As a self-employed digital nomad, I provided a bank statement showing $150,000 USD, a stock portfolio worth $50,000 USD, my monthly Google AdSense income of around $3,000/ month and payment slips from the past six months. I was called in for an interview on the 25th, but by that time, the visa sticker was already issued.. Thailand Here I Come ☺🤣

Anyone applying from Phnom Penh recently? I’ve applied since 21st, and it’s still pending. I’m getting anxious and running out of places to go visit 🤣

Just want to know if anyone else is on the same boat.

I currently have a work permit and business visa for the last year and 1/2 through a company I recently sold my shares in. The remaining owners of the company plan to close the company soon. But I am not sure of the timetable.

I am aware that if a company doesn’t cancel someone’s work permit and then I leave Thailand without a re-entry permit which effectively cancels my non-b visa. It can flag up on the system and then they will receive a fine.

What is the process to ensure they don’t get this fine when I leave to get a DTV in about 2 weeks. Do they simply need to inform the labour department to cancel my work permit? I want to try and inform them of the process to make it as easy for them to complete. As they are a small company with limited knowledge about these matters.

Can I apply for a DTV visa with only a 1-month bank statement since my bank account is new?

Los Angeles Consulate - I've been a freelancer/remote worker for 3 years but I now only have one main long-term client I've been with since February 2023 (almost 2 years, we renew our contract every year as I usually increase my retainer rates). Has anyone had similar experience and/or will this timeframe impact my application in anyway?
