Someone just told me it’s not possible to do the dtv application at the embassy in Jakarta, it needs to be done online. I cannot find anything about this. Does anyone know?🙏✨

TLDR : Answer Summary
The DTV visa application can still be processed in person at the Thai embassy in Jakarta. Several commenters confirm that the embassy does not currently support an online application system, contrary to some beliefs. The process is walk-in only, as indicated on the embassy's website.

Incorrect, I quite recently obtained DTV from Jakarta. Its walk in only, no appointment. As per their website

Jakarta is still a walk-up embassy. Easily seen from their website that the process is in person.

Online application is better. Upload the documents to the embassy website of your location and pay the visa fee online. After a few days Visa is approved.

I don’t think that’s true

Message them though Facebook and respond to this post. I’ll be there on Wednesday

When I emailed them last week they said in person appointments were not going away with an advance notice

Online application is avalible only in some countries. If Royal Thai embassy in Indonesia is accepting online application, you can apply online. But you actually have to be in Indonesia. You need to upload indonesian immigration stamp on your passport.
