I am on a retirement visa my 4th year in Thailand and just been informed that

When travelling to a different province and using my passport when checking into hotels it’s recorded

And on my return home I have to report into my local immigration office within 24hours

Is this something other people have been required to do

Cheers Gordon

Hello, I’ve been in Thailand for almost three months. but I left Thailand six days before my tourist visa expired, I then exited to Cambodia and stayed there for about seven days last September. I got a two-month visa again. Recently, I exited again to Cambodia and stayed for about four days, leaving Thailand four days before my tourist visa expired.

My question is: is it okay to return to Thailand through the Cambodia-Thailand border and get another two-month visa?

Hi, I'm planning to stay in Thailand 102 days. I'm both Swedish and Finnish citizen and have both passports. I'm just having a long vacation, back home to work in April-25.

How do I handle the visa situation?

- Can I apply before departure?

- Can I extend the visa at immigration services

- Do I have to leave and reenter Thailand

I have confirmed flght tickets

I have confirmed hotel booking in Hua Hin

Appreciate advise!

Hi guys,

has anyone that obtained DTV and with long history of tourist visas in the country, ever been questioned when going through immigration?

Basically just wondered if anyone with DTV has ever been rejected entry in the country.

Does anyone have any tips for submitting large file-sizes on the eVisa application form? All of my supporting documents are PDFs so I can merge them into a single file but it greatly exceeds the 3MB file limit.

The culprit pages are image-heavy PDF versions of webpages showing my biographies and a few writing samples. I've also included live links to all of these pages on my cover letter/contents page - if there's no way around the file limit, would these links suffice on their own?

Thanks! (And thank you to everyone who's posted so far, this page has been a fantastic resource)

Hi all, here goes.

My wife is planning to apply for the DTV. I understand them I would need to apply and our kids also.

I think there is a speed bump in our way.

2 years ago I had a run in with the law. I fulfilled all my obligations to that issue and all of that.

Because of this, did I ruin my family’s chance at doing this?

Anonymous for obvious reasons.

Has anyone applied as a sole proprietor? I have my own company but I’m not incorporated. I’m curious to know if someone got approved and what the proof of business letter looked like.
