Does anyone have any tips for submitting large file-sizes on the eVisa application form? All of my supporting documents are PDFs so I can merge them into a single file but it greatly exceeds the 3MB file limit.

The culprit pages are image-heavy PDF versions of webpages showing my biographies and a few writing samples. I've also included live links to all of these pages on my cover letter/contents page - if there's no way around the file limit, would these links suffice on their own?

Thanks! (And thank you to everyone who's posted so far, this page has been a fantastic resource)

Answer summary

A user inquired about submitting oversized documents for an eVisa application, which has a 3MB file limit. They suggested merging supporting documents into a single PDF but faced challenges due to the file size exceeding the limit. Other users provided solutions, recommending tools like CamScanner and PDF compression websites, along with desktop applications that reduce file size while maintaining document quality. Additionally, the user considered including live links to their documents as an alternative if the size could not be reduced.

download pdf24 for free on your computer and merge the pages together + set a document quality for saving the file which will then reduce the final size. just try a little bit to find the accepted maximal file size for the system.
