Is it possible to re-enter Thailand via the Cambodia border and obtain another two-month visa after multiple exits?

Hello, I’ve been in Thailand for almost three months. but I left Thailand six days before my tourist visa expired, I then exited to Cambodia and stayed there for about seven days last September. I got a two-month visa again. Recently, I exited again to Cambodia and stayed for about four days, leaving Thailand four days before my tourist visa expired.

My question is: is it okay to return to Thailand through the Cambodia-Thailand border and get another two-month visa?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about returning to Thailand through the Cambodia-Thailand border after recently exiting with a tourist visa that was about to expire. Responses indicate that while re-entry is possible, it heavily depends on the discretion of the immigration officer. Many commenters suggest flying into Thailand could be less risky than going through a land border. Additionally, concerns were raised about the user's visa status, hinting at the importance of having a proper visa rather than depending on exemptions.

You did not get any visa. Its visa exempt. Meaning NO visa. And thats the point. Stetching the limits and you will be denied or at least be told to get a proper visa.

If it’s the Poi Pet border it’s really tough there

Maybe yes and maybe no. It will depend on the immigration officer you will stand in front of. I wouldn't fly though, at least if you're refused at a land border you can try another one

I wouldn’t try to enter by land border again, fly into Thailand this time but good luck either way just depends on immigration officers mood 😅

Airports are FAR more strict than land borders. Airports are where most people are denied entry. And the consequences of being denied entry at an airport are far worse than being denied entry at a land border.

yes I understand that but coming into the land border at Cambodia twice already in a short amount of time the chances of being turned away are just as likely if you look at previous post it’s recommended by many people not to do so and having just been there myself at the beginning of this month and seeing one person be turned away I’m just sharing my thoughts

Just use a different land border, there's enough of them between Cambodia and Thailand

Much better than returning by air. There are crossings from Cambodia known to be lenient
