Can a Chinese person apply for a DTV visa at an embassy in Vietnam?🙏

Hey guys 🙋‍♂️

I want to apply for via the business owner route in Vietnam. My company bank account is Wise and I’m not sure I can get more than a bank statement, I read here that people hand in a signed document from their bank so I’m wondering if my statement will be sufficient.

Secondly, once the visa got approved, do I have to go to the embassy in HCMC/Hanoi to pick it up or will it also be sent via mail?

Hey team, I'd like to apply for DTV now via e-visa in my home country of Australia, go on a 3 week international trip I have scheduled with the current passport in December, then return from that trip and apply for a new passport around January 2nd, then travel to Thailand in mid-February. All flights are already booked, and I can’t miss the 3-week trip in December.

Will entering Thailand on a new passport while the DTV is associated with the old passport cause an issue? I’ve previously had a Thai visa on an old passport, so I just traveled with both passports while that visa was valid. Would it be the same with the DTV even though there won’t be a physical visa in my passport?

TLDR: My passport expires in mid-June 2025 and I’d strongly prefer to apply for my DTV BEFORE I receive a new passport, so I don’t have to cancel my flight and lose money. I assume the DTV will carry over to my new passport once I get it, but can anyone confirm?

Has anyone renewed their Thai drivers license with the DTV visa? If so, what were the documents that they required when doing so.

I am curious to know if your DTV visa is approved do you need to submit your passport to the embassy or is it an electronic visa so no need?

I ask this as I am working remotely in Papua New Guinea and would normally apply through Australia but I won’t be in Australia during this time and plan to be back with a stop over in Singapore and then on to Phuket on the 18/12/2024.

I’m an Australian expat that has lived in Thailand for the last 15 years but this is a new one for me and have always had a Non O Spouse visa multiple entries but that is no longer available.

I'm already in Thailand. it just took 5 days to get DTV on one of the weakest passport. All you need a complete set of Supporting docs for a quickest & Successive Results. Good luck guys

Ive put wrong flight number on my application and submitted it, will this be a issue or can they change it ? any input would be great thanks

If your request for DTV is refused can you ask it again at the same embassy or a different embassy?

I am self-employed in Europe. To apply for a DTV I anticipate to write a cover letter that I need to do ongoing market research in Thailand with the aim of establishing a regional office in Bangkok. I cannot submit any client contract at this stage. Would this work to get the DTV? All other required documents, such as bank statement etc, I have.

Has anyone successfully done a DTV extension yet in Thailand, what was the process and cost, is it 1900thb or 10,000thb again for another 6 months
