TLDR : Answer Summary
The original poster (OP) shared their experience of obtaining a DTV visa in Thailand in just 5 days, despite having a weak passport. They emphasized the importance of submitting a complete set of supporting documents for a successful application. Several commenters inquired about the OP's nationality, where they applied for the visa, and clarified what is meant by a "weak passport." The OP confirmed they applied in Cambodia and responded to questions regarding the application process and timing, indicating it was a straightforward experience for them.
Pakistan is on the list of additional requirements like mine "egypt" , in my case i had to submit my docs and wait around 20 days for background check .. did you also have to wait for background check approval? Or just 5 days from your first visit to the embassy in cambodia? And are you a cambodia resident? And did you apply online while there or through the embassy
Once you've made it to Cambodia (which for nationals of countries such as yours and Pakistan is a little more involved than for the rest of us) becoming a "resident" is super easy. Firstly, make sure you arrive on an E category visa. Then, extend your stay using an agent for 6 or 12 months. Done. Its as easy as that.

You said you applied for the DTV visa inside Thailand? Why many youtuber said we must apply for the DTV visa outside Thailand ?
You said only 5 working days you get the feedback from the Thailand embassy? Are you applied it by yourself online or through the agency? How much does it cost for the DTV visa application?
It usually signifies a passport where visas have to be applied ahead of a visit. Often these visas are hard to get. As an example Singapore is a very strong passport as they have visa free entry very extensively. Indian passport is weak as they mostly need visas and are hard to obtain for say USA, Schengen etc

thank you. So which passport-weak country does your passport come from (if I may ask)?
How was the process getting a Cambodian visa like for you? I know there are additional documentary requirements for nationals of certain countries, including Pakistan.
