Just flew into Chiang Mai from Hanoi. 1st time using DTV for entry.

Lady at immigration looked like I had 3 heads. I said this is 180 days each entry and she shrugged her shoulders.

Stamped in for correct amount of days it appears.

Cannot believe how quick Chiang Mai handles incoming flights. In and out in 5 minutes.

Are dependent visas still offered for Ed visa holders? (I've heard confirmation for Ed Plus which is only offered through a university, correct?)

So if a parent comes to do a year long language course, can they have dependent wife and children (not yet school age) ride on their visa?

I know it was possible 5 years ago but I have heard mixed information on it recently.

Got my visa today.(Ho chi Minh )Applied last week on Tuesday but had to send proof of address. Stamp wasn't enough so I added my rental contract.

I work as a tutor online. I sent the link to my profile on the site I work on and wrote what I do and sent a 6 month earnings report.

Bank statement 6 months. The amount was there from the beginning.

On approval of the DTV, can you enter anytime once you have the approval or is entry as per the entry date you stated in the application?

Has anyone got DTV visa with evidence of funds through sponsorship route

I’m recommending Tik toc services in Pattaya if you are after a bank account or drivers licences on the dtv. They were very professional and managed to get both the licence and bank account sorted in one day.

Is there any age limit for DTV visa? My friend is in his late fifties, works remotely and fits the criteria, but is afraid to apply for DTV thinking its only for young people

Hi, I searched the group but limited information comes up in regards to applying through the US New York consulate. I will be back in the US for 4-5 weeks over the holidays and I would like to know the processing time for the DTV or if I should plan on applying somewhere in SE Asia when I return. Thank you!
