Arrived again at Suvarnabhumi today at 7pm. Extremely long lines at immigration. It took me 90 minutes (!) to get to the I/O. The people in front of me where all asked a question or two and my booth was moving much slower than the one next to me. However, when it was finally my turn, I received my third DTV entry in a year, no questions asked. It took about two minutes. Hope, this helps.

I booked a rt flight to Kuala Lumpur to activate a new Dtv entry. My flight back to Bangkok is 3 Hours after I land in KL. Does anyone know the process: will I have to go out of the arrival terminal and to the departures gate for the in/out stamps? Or can I just stay in the terminal and go to my “connecting“ flight?

When does the 5 year start, is it on the date the visa gets approved or once you make your first DTV entry into Thailand? Thanks.

Just flew into Chiang Mai from Hanoi. 1st time using DTV for entry.

Lady at immigration looked like I had 3 heads. I said this is 180 days each entry and she shrugged her shoulders.

Stamped in for correct amount of days it appears.

Cannot believe how quick Chiang Mai handles incoming flights. In and out in 5 minutes.

Hope everyone enjoys this! See you on the road somewhere.
