Quick question, and please forgive me if this has been asked and answered already, but I didn't find much (or rather too much to sift through) on this websites search function.

Is it easier to apply for and receive a retirement visa in your home country or after arriving in Thailand ? I'm about a two hour drive from the Thai embassy in Los Angeles.

Thanks for your input.

Hi all! A question regarding DTV visa.

My partner and I are not married but in a domestic partenrship (in some countries its called common law or civil union)

Will the same rull apply here as on married couples? Meaning in case I get the visa, will it my partner automatically get it as well?

In additon, do you know what documents are required to be presented for a civil union couple?

Thank you all!

Well I never expected that 45 years later I would have a problem with my past. I am married to a Thai woman and want to move permanently to Thailand yet everywhere I look must not have a criminal record

Is there any help for me?

Hello, fellow DTV holders! Has anyone completed their 90-day check-in with this visa? Could you share what the paperwork and process are like for those of us with the same visa?

Is there any foreign investor here? If I do not get an investor/elite visa, I intend to apply for a working visa as optional. From my understanding, If I want to start a tour company here, it appears that a local partnership with 51% ownership is required. The information I found online is quite out of date. Is this policy still in effect these days. Also, I discovered that there are numerous unregistered companies with no licenses operating tours in Thailand. (ex. [members only], [members only]/) Are the laws allowing this? They don't seem to be in any trouble. I'm looking for advice on starting a tour business in Thailand and I can't seek a clear information about it. What kind of visa and license do I need? I heard there is more than one license required. This is a little confusing.

On the one hand agents say border runs by land are unlimited since July 2024, on the other hand almost everyone else says border runs by plane are unlimited. Does anyone know the truth?

Hey everyone. I’m a freelancer looking to apply for a DTV visa for my wife and I from Taiwan. I have several ongoing clients, but have only recently become a digital nomad. Is it a necessity to have an LLC, or is being a sole proprietor sufficient? And how many months do I need to show for income? Please advice. Thanks.
