Can anyone advise.Wanting to come on a 30- 60 day Visa free visit from Australia. Can I exit Thailand eg fly to Germany for a week and then return and stay for the remaining period that is stamped in my passport or am I better off to apply for a Visa if wanting to do this?

Have a question

I'm lazy to look it up but maybe you can help

I already have a DTV Visa ,only used it once .

So when I return. How do they stamp my passport ?

With a new DTV stamp and expired date ..

or just put a stamp next to my first DTV stamp ?

Does anyone know what happens when dtv expires and you exit the country and enter again on tourist visa? Eg say you had a pretty big setup over the years and have left overs to get out of the country so need to go back. Will they let you in…

Just a quick question regarding a 60 day Visa exempt trip. During the 60 days, would you be able to exit Thailand to visit Laos or Myanmar and then return the same day/following day, without any re-entry issues?

Apologies if this has been covered exhaustively, I haven’t been keeping an eye on things as I might. Has anyone been asked to provide proof of bank balance upon re-entering Thailand recently? Thank you.

To those on a DTV visa doing a soft power course: is there a chance they won’t let you use your DTV to get back into Thailand once your course has finished? (My cooking course is only 6 months long). Thanks 🙏

Hello, I am a bit nervous because I will re enter Thailand on the DTV for the 2nd time. I don't have the original amount in my bank account. Would I be able to show my mums bank details and a letter from her that guarantees financial support if necessary? I have the money but it's mostly invested. I dont want to move all my funds for the purpose of re entry into Thailand. Or do you think it's enough to show the same documents I applief for with 8 months ago?

Hi, I’m currently in Thailand and will need to exit country after 90 days being on a multi entry tourist visa (METV - 60 days + 30 days extension).

Do I have to stay abroad for a certain number of days, or can I leave and return on the same day?

Hi guys quick question. I have been in Thailand on a non b with a work permit for 12 months which expired on the 30th of June. I left Thailand on the 23rd of June and plan to re-enter on the 5th of July (visa exemption). This is my first ever visa exemption. Uk passport holder. Do you think I will have any issues?

Just a couple of quick notes as I'm just back from Laos. Been many times before covid flying one way and was never asked to show anything. But this time my paranoia made me book an onward flight. Good things as I was asked during check in with Lao Airlines at Swampy. They also asked to see cash enough for the visa. 1700 baht lol.

As I was sat in Laos preparing to attempt my Thai re entry, I started to look at the TDAC thingy. In general, I think it works quite well. What frustrated me was the country selectors (there are two on the way towards submission.) They're an absolute mess! Country codes makes no sense, countries doesn't seem to be in any semblance of order, auto suggestion if you just start with like "D" didn't seem to work. So I would suggest starting a few days before intended arrival.

Oh, and Beerlao + pizza at Tyson remains as tasty as always (shame about Bor Pen Yang, though).

Cheers!
