Can a person apply for the DTV by signing up for a Muay Thai or cooking course ,
AND ALSO get his spouse over for 10k THB ?
- will it work for this DTV option ?
Does the spouse need proof of financial stability with personal bank account showing 500k THB , or can he/she be using the same joint account with their spouse ?
Can I apply for the LTR Visa under the Wealthy Pensioner category using non-taxable passive income to meet the $80k requirement? I earned significant passive income (dividends, capital gains) in tax-deferred IRAs and reinvested it in those same accounts as tax-deferred transactions. The income appears on my brokerage statements but not on my tax returns because the income is not taxable yet. Will the BOI credit this passive income toward the $80k requirement?
There have been similar posts here in the past but the answers were not definitive, stating "ask the BOI" or "apply and find out". I would like to know if anyone has had their LTR visa approved using this approach.
Trying to learn about the 'Cat O Non-Immigrant' visa, but on the uk EVisa site i'm seeing only 'Living With Thai Family in Thailand' under long-term stay. I'm probably to blame, but is the Cat O difficult to land on in the EVisa site ? Thanks.
Hi DTV community! I'll be in Phnom Penh next month. I will make my application for DTV under workation category.
I am a freelance online ESL teacher with clients from China. I was in Th for two years (on and off) and learned Thai for a year. I was doing my online job while schooling and receiving my payments using my Bangkok bank.
Has anyone tried showing their proof of income using Thai banks? My clients are from China, but I decided to receive payments using my Thai bank for convenience and better exchange rates. Will it be a problem?
I don't have a contract/company. Can screenshots of my work be enough proof?
Has anyone done this by register mail? The website said it should be done at least 15 days before the 90 days, just wondering when is it too soon to post the mail?
