Hi DTV community! I'll be in Phnom Penh next month. I will make my application for DTV under workation category.

I am a freelance online ESL teacher with clients from China. I was in Th for two years (on and off) and learned Thai for a year. I was doing my online job while schooling and receiving my payments using my Bangkok bank.

Has anyone tried showing their proof of income using Thai banks? My clients are from China, but I decided to receive payments using my Thai bank for convenience and better exchange rates. Will it be a problem?

I don't have a contract/company. Can screenshots of my work be enough proof?

Will appreciate your feedback.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is applying for a DTV visa under the workation category and asks if receiving payments through a Thai bank account from Chinese clients can serve as adequate proof of income. They have no formal contract or company but are considering using screenshots of their work as proof. Curious how your Chinese clients transferred money into your Thai bank account. Swift from bank to bank?

I have a pal exactly in yiur position but has not applied yet. Money in Thai Bank OK. Just hope they do not get too inquisitive about payments into Thailand but that is probably a stretch.
