Confused by your 'theoreticalluly once you've got the one-year extension you can remove the 800,000 from your bank account'..

I thought at least 400,000 had to remain in the bank?

Thanks. I would not be able to get Health insurance (too ancient, too unwell 🙂) - so a crucial issue : is the Marriage route not needing that compulsory insurance, and the Retirement route does ? Thanks.

From the EVisa website : 'Non-Immigrant Type O (Visiting or staying with applicant's family resided in Thailand (more than 60 days) - single entry only)' Is that the visa for someone who wants to get the 12-month extension after the Cat O, to live with Thai wife, but NOT with Thai Family, never!
