Hi I am applying for my DTV in Manila, Philippines as a business owner. They are now requesting further documents from me, which is to show that I had 500k baht in my bank statements for the last 3 months.
However, I've only kept the 500k baht in my account for the last month or so, and I've used my money to invest in crypto, so I have no bank statements to show that I have 500k baht sitting in my account for the last 3 months.
Do you think I can submit a letter explaining in detail all this and they will accept it or is it a loss cause? Has anyone had a similar experience? Would really appreciate your help, thank you.
Hi everyone - hoping to get some advice from anyone who’s been through the DTV application recently 🙏
I’ve submitted my application via the London embassy and have been asked for additional supporting documents. One issue I’m running into is that the visa portal only seems to allow a single file upload per section.
For example, I need to submit multiple invoices and supporting income documents, but I can only upload one file at a time. I’m also wondering how others have managed this?
Also slightly related - I’ve been told to remain in the UK while my application is being processed, but I already have travel booked for early May. I’d really appreciate hearing how others have handled timing/travel during the application process as well.
Any experiences or advice would be massively appreciated - thanks in advance!
Hi all, quick question regarding DTV application. Is it mandatory to provide a flight booking entering Thailand as well as Accommodation? If not, would it be strongly recommended?
I ever applied for a Thai visa in Jakarta and received a Non-O Immigration visa, but I never used it and it expired automatically. Will this record still be kept? How long if kept this record?
My DTV from Washington D.C is not progressing and I’m at a loss of what to do.
Applied on February 12th. March 4th I got a request for more documents of which I gave. I submitted them within an hour of the request being sent. It’s now March 24th and I’ve heard nothing back.
I’ve sent an email to the consult but have no response. I’ve left a voicemail but have had no response. Is this normal? From what I see on here others get the DTV far quicker from this location.
Any suggestions on what to do? I had planned on going April 1st but that seems to be increasingly impossible.
I am currently considering applying for the Destination Thailand Visa (DTV) and would appreciate some clarification from anyone who may have experience or reliable information regarding this matter.
I entered Thailand last year and obtained a work visa in Bangkok, which is valid until September this year (approximately five months remaining). I am already familiar with the DTV application process; however, I have received conflicting information from different sources.
My main question is whether it is acceptable to use a Thai bank account, opened under my name while working legally in Thailand, as financial proof for a DTV visa application. Some people have advised that this is permitted, while others have stated the opposite.
If anyone has successfully applied using a Thai bank account, or has official guidance or firsthand experience, I would greatly appreciate your insight.
