Good morning Co-DTV applicant in Ho Chi Minh Vietnam, May I asked on how to extend my stay here as my approval didn't come yet.

I applied last September 29,2025 at 1am and I received the document request at 8 am. But I noticed that my application is still pending.

DTV Muay Thai

Does anyone know if there is a minimum amount of muay thai lessons you have to prebook in order to receive your visa? / has any had an experience with not having enough booked?

Hello!

Me, my wife, and our three children are applying for the DTV (Digital Nomad Visa), and I have a few questions. I would be very happy if someone can help me.

1. I will work remotely. Should I apply first, and then my wife and children apply after?

2. I will start my new (remote) job when we arrive, so I don’t have payslips yet. I have all the other documents. Is this a problem? Can I use payslips from my current job instead?

3. My wife and I have a shared savings account in a Swedish bank with 850,000 Baht. We are both account holders. Is this okay, or do we need to change something?

Very thankful for answers!

Hi Group! I have booked my Thai Cooking Classes for 6 months and going to apply for the DTV. Once my course is finished, can I apply for an additional 6 months course to validate my visa? However I wont be staying in Thailand for more than 40 days each time I enter.

Has anyone applied for a DTV spouse visa with a Thai marriage certificate? If so, was it approved?

My partner and I are both from Europe, and are thinking of getting married here in Thailand (I’m here on a DTV, they are on a tourist visa). Then go out of the country to apply for my partner’s DTV as my spouse. Just wondering if a Thai marriage certificate would suffice.

DTV Visa (Thailand Workcation)

I'm Japanese and have been running a restaurant in the Netherlands for about seven years.

• September 11: I applied at the Thai Embassy in The Hague, Netherlands.

• I received a notice from the embassy that I would be scheduled for an interview on September 18.

During the interview, I was asked questions such as:

1. Is remote work possible?

2. Why do you want a DTV visa?

3. When do you plan to go to Thailand and how long do you plan to stay?

4. Have you ever been to Thailand?

After the interview, I was asked to submit copies of all pages of my passport.

I had recently renewed my passport, so I copied the blank pages and sent them. Shortly after, I was also asked to submit a copy of my old passport.

Unfortunately, I lost my old passport during my trip, so I sent a copy of the police report I took at that time.

• October 2: Visa Approved!

I'm sharing this in the hopes that it will be helpful to others.

I was completing the DTV application, but a question came up: “Have you ever applied for a Thai visa?”

I was there as a tourist, and later I requested a 30-day extension. Does that count as a visa?

Just got my DTV application rejected by the Warsaw embassy. The reason was "

* The Thai Culinary Course, with a total duration of 6 months and only 20 hours of culinary training, does not meet the requirements for the DTV visa. The limited course frequency and intensity are insufficient to support an application*.*
