2 rules by road is no longer being inforced since the exempt changed to 60days can do more than 2, people already done it.

So if you only got the TR60 visa. Entry valid for 90 days then the sad news for you is you have not avoided the one day at immigration to get extension of 30 days giving you the 90 days.

Vietnam needs but Thailand does not. 2 different countries 2 different rules.

I need a visa into Vietnam but I don't for Thailand can not compare 2 different countries or their rules.

Many Asian countries have mutual agreements which does not include countries such as Australia, USA or UK etc

Hence Japanese passport was ok and USA was not

TM30 is the registration of a foreign person staying in a resident, regardless of hotel or private it's a legal requirement within 24 hours of arrival
