28 day pqckage and sim card i use dtac usually around 700 bht. You can pick them up in stores or if in asq get the hotel to get you one.

Yes you have to have a compelling reason for travel holiday is not a reason having family overseas in Thailand is not a reason it would have to be on humanitarian grounds to visit someone who for example is having a major operation or end of life pathway, you are being turned away at the airport

Hi and thank you for that very helpful information I’m looking to move from the UK to Thailand on the appropriate Visa, (I have a Thai wife here in the UK with me)What I did not realise which was very helpful from your post is that if I get the Visa and extension I can apply for a work permit if my wife set up a small business, I understood that businesses wishing to hire foreign workers had to have a certain amount of Thai workers first, can I be a pain and if you have any more information would you send it to me directly many thanks in advance for any help and assistance

Lots of agencies locally who will assist but your first port of call is the British Embassy they will guide you through it and assist you with what you need to do
