Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen! I would appreciate a bit of confirmation from those of you in the know.

I have to return to the UK I am fully vaccinated in the UK with two AZ jabs

I am returning from Thailand to England with emirates

I believe as I am fully vaccinated and only transiting through Dubai (two hours) that I do not require an RT PCR test for that

Further in order to enter the UK as I am not travelling from the red list country, I’m fully vaccinated, I believe that I only have to book the day two rt pcr test and fill those details in on the passenger locator form (I am travelling back landing on the 21st so cannot take advantage of the cheap protest that kicks in on the 22nd

Perfect if anybody can confirm that I do not require a PCR test to leave Thailand with emirates and enter the UK that would be of assistance as I keep second guessing myself, apologies for the long winded post and I appreciate any feedback, My thanks in advance

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking confirmation on whether a fully vaccinated traveler from Thailand to the UK via Emirates, with a short transit in Dubai, needs a PCR test to exit Thailand and enter the UK. The user has been vaccinated with two doses of the AZ vaccine and is returning from a non-red list country. Responses indicate that while a PCR test may be required for departure from Thailand, it may not be needed for entry into the UK if coming from an Amber country, though a day 2 PCR test is necessary, alongside completing a passenger locator form.

If you’re coming from an Amber country then you won’t require a PCR test for entry into England. You’ll still need the PCR day 2 test though, and you’ll have to fill in a passenger locator form before you depart BKK on the GOV.UK website.
